Mission:

NK&D / a movement company, led by Artistic Director Nicole Kadar-Greene, operates through a collaborative creative model in which dancers actively shape the work. Personal experiences, writing, and movement contributions from the artists form the foundation of each piece.

 The company creates accessible dance theater works that explore relationships, emotions, and the shared human experience through writing explorations and athletic, musical choreography. NK&D values community-centered creation and aims to present work that resonates with diverse audiences, including those who may not regularly attend dance performances.

 By involving community voices in both process and presentation, NK&D seeks to create performances that linger beyond the stage, encouraging conversation, reflection, and connection. It is the hope that the work draws in non-dance audience members to become more active participates in the dance world.
